By using Vaera, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Vaera lets you earn Credits by completing focused, distraction-free sessions, and spend those Credits to unlock time on apps you've chosen to block. Credits, XP, cards, and every other in-app item have no monetary value. They cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged for cash, or redeemed outside the app.
You sign in with your Apple or Google account. You're responsible for keeping your device and account secure. Vaera is designed for one account per person — automating or artificially inflating Focus sessions, credits, or rankings undermines the point of the app and may result in account restrictions.
Vaera Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly, purchased through the App Store. It is billed to your Apple ID and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Refunds are handled entirely by Apple under its own refund policy — Vaera cannot issue refunds directly.
App blocking is implemented using Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. You choose which apps or categories to block; Vaera enforces that block and lifts it only when you spend Credits to do so, or when you remove the app from your block list.
Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with Vaera's economy, servers, or Screen Time enforcement. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the system, attempt fraud, or violate applicable law.
Vaera is provided "as is." We work to keep the app reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use, to the extent permitted by law.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
